A band from Ecuador, intriguingly known as VERDE70, has released exciting audiovisual material on VEVO. The video for “Últimamente,” a song from their fourth, self-titled album, is delighting fans both in the U.S. and in their native country, nations where they have recently performed live.

This new video was unveiled in Quito on June 20th, and in other international cities such as Guayaquil, Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey on the 23rd. The band is currently touring; catch them in LA at The Hotel Cafe on August 18th, in Jersey at Baru on the 21st, or at the Melrose Ballroom in the Big Apple on the 22nd. Can’t make it? Keep your eyes peeled for future dates and venues– the band will continue offering live shows through December.

VERDE70 was founded in the year 2000. Their cutting-edge sound was developed by members Bastián Napolitano (drums), Diego Saa (bass, backup vocals), César Galarza (guitar and backup vocals), and Darío Castro (vocals and guitar). Their three first albums “Alegre Depresión” (2000), “Ruta Melancolía” (2003), and “Con Cierto Cuidado!” (2006) were extraordinarily successful in their home country. The group has shared the stage with numerous Spanish-language music greats, including Juanes, Hombres G, Caramelos de Cianuro, Alejandro Lerner, Vilma Palma, Sin Bandera, and Elefante. Now that Latino artists are attaining international acclaim, world domination can’t be far behind.
