Following the success of last year’s conference in its first-ever virtual form, we are once again hosting the conference virtually. This year it’s the week of Cinco de Mayo – May 4-7th, 2021.
Registration is once again free. Last year we had over 10,000 registrants and we now expect to double that this year. The LAMC was one of the first music conferences to go digital and the first one in the Latin space. The setup and layout for LAMC 2021 will be very similar to what we did last year. Four days of panels, workshops, showcases, and networking with many of the creatives and executives moving the Latin music industry forward.
This year we will have discussions on subjects as varied as Afro Latinism to the boom from the recent successful Netflix series, “Rompan Todo” to creating during this pandemic, touring, and artist finances. We will once again recognize women in the industry via our “Wonder Women of Latin Music” awards (presented by Amazon).

What is the LAMC?
The LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference) is one of the more important music conferences in the world. Dubbed the “Sundance of Latin music”, LAMC is also the only major conference celebrating and supporting forward thinking genres of Latin music that are often left of center. Over the last 22 years, the LAMC has opened paths for Latin music and culture as a live summer conference and festival in the heart of NYC.
What was once alternative is now the mainstream.
