Manu Manzo was born in Venezuela and raised in the city of Miami. She grew up listening to jazz and Latin music, artists like Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Sarah Vaughan, Celia Cruz and Alejandro Sanz, as well as the artists of her native Venezuela, who have influenced her taste and soul in her compositions.

Her new single “Caminando” is a fresh new cut that combines urban and Latin sounds with a smooth flow of lyrics influenced by a modern Latin urban style. Written by Reyniel Del Valle and Manu, the the feel-good track portrays Manu as a secure and independent woman seeking to have a good time and elevate her spirit. Asserting she can take things in to her own hands, her playful hip-hop influenced lyrics express her journey to find happiness and satisfaction in life without regrets.

The new video was filmed in the colorful and culturally dynamic Wynwood Arts District in Miami, surrounded by the vibrant colors and trademark graffiti that depicts the neighborhood’s diversity. Manu transitions through each scene with her trademark voice and a natural sensuality that shows off her independence as she embraces love and life under her own terms.
