Morat are more naked than ever in this new song, “Al Aire, which in addition to transmitting good vibes, something that is synonymous with the band, gives special prominence to the banjo, the most personal and symbolic instrument for Colombians.

For Morat to be Al Aire (On Air), is to be speaking to thousands of people simultaneously, and many times that may be the only way to contact that one specific person you’re hoping to reach. In times like these, we are grateful to have various outlets for communication, either through new technologies or by resorting to traditional media, like radio.

As for the video that accompanies the song, it is undoubtedly one of the most impressive in terms of production that Morat has produced to-date. The art direction of the video centers around highlighting the personality of each member of the band. It was filmed in Guasca, a striking mountainous and natural landscape in the outskirts of Bogotá, and additional footage from the 12-hour shoot, which the band enjoyed incredibly from start to finish, appears on the band’s social channels. The main element, the antenna that is featured on the cover of the single, was built with old electronic devices, and it was the members of Morat who chose and designed it themselves.

To commemorate the release of this new song from Morat, the band’s official store features a special edition t-shirt designed specifically for this very personal song, “Al Aire.” Click on the image and it will take you to the exclusive world of Morat.
