Silvestre Dangond Celebrates the Release of his New Album

Colombian artist, Silvestre Dangond, released his much-anticipated album titled, “Gente Valiente.” In this album the vallenato artist collaborated with Nicky Jam in the song titled, “Materialista”. Dangon also joined forces with Farruko in the remix of “Ya No Me Duele Más.” Fans can now stream the album on Spotify or buy it on ITunes.

In a recent press release distributed to different media outlets, the Colombian singer expressed, “I am very excited to finally share this great project with everyone.” Gente Valiente is the 11th album of Silvestre Dangond, but it’s the first album under his new record label, Sony Music Latin.

The album is filled with Caribbean vallenato beats, and combined with the innovative rhythms and catchy lyrics that set Dangond apart from the rest. Throughout his musical career he has captivated the attention of his fans with his wonderful lyrics and performances. There is no doubt that Dangond will also obtain the same respect and admiration in the United States.

 

Olga Tañon Collaborates with Wisin

Grammy winning artist, Olga Tañon, joins forces with the popular reggaeton artist Wisin on the song titled, “Asi Es El Amor.” This new single will be revealed on February 10 on all digital platforms and in radio stations in Latin America and the United States. With tropical urban beats, this song will for sure become another hit for both artists. Later this year, Olga Tañon will also surprise her fans by releasing a new album.

In a recent press release distributed to different media outlets, Tañon mentioned that she has known Wisin for many years and is happy to collaborate with him. In a few weeks, the wait will be over and fans will finally listen to this new song.

Colombian artist, Maluma, now ranks among the world’s top digital music artists, and is the only Latin artist on the top 10 of the Global Digital Artists Ranking. With this achievement, Maluma is now ranking with fellow superstars like Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Justin Beiber. His recent hits “Sin Contrato,” “Cuatro Babys,” and his recent collaborations with Shakira in “Chantaje,” and Ricky Martin with “Vente Pa’ Ca,” have been on top of the Billboard charts for several months now.

Next month, Maluma will attend, for the first time, the prestigious festival of Viña del Mar. The 22-year-old artist is preparing many big surprises and hopes to take home many awards. Alejandro Fernandez Releases a New Album

Music artist, Alejandro Fernandez, revealed through social media that his latest album titled, “Rompiendo Fronteras,” will be released on February 10, 2017. The new album will also include the hit single, “Quiero Que Vuelvas,” released last December and composed by the singer/song-writer, Joss Favela. In a couple of weeks the wait will be over and Alejandro’s fans will be able to purchased or stream the album nationwide.

The popular Mexican artist revealed the news to his followers on Twitter by posting the following statement, “Happy to announce that my new album #RompiendoFronteras will be available on February 10th.” The excitement of the fans was immediate and the hashtag became a trending topic. Throughout the years, the fans have fallen in love with the music of Alejandro Fernandez and this new album will for sure be another huge success.

Luis Fonsi Collaborates with Daddy Yankee

The wait is over! Luis Fonsi returns to the music scene with his latest single titled, “Despacito,” featuring Daddy Yankee. The song was written by Fonsi in collaboration with Panamanian singer-songwriter, Erika Ender, and produced by Andres Torres and Mauricio Regifo. This new single will captivate music fans worldwide and become the next number one hit.

In a recent press release distributed to various media outlets, Luis Fonsi mentioned that, “DY is one of the greatest exponents of the genre and a great friend. To be able to merge his style with mine was very exciting. We had already worked together on previous occasions, but for this song, I had the opportunity to see him shine in the recording studio, see the magic, perfection, and energy that he applies to everything he does. He brought the song to another level; it was without a doubt an essential piece for “Despacito.”

With a perfect fusion of Latin rhythms, and bohemian beats, this new song will definitely become the next radio hit nationwide. The video was also filmed last December in different locations around Puerto Rico, including La Perla, and the popular club La Factoria located in El Viejo San Juan.

J Balvin is Named Ambassador of New York Men’s Fashion Week

Reggaeton artist, J Balvin, was recently named ambassador of the fourth edition of New York Men’s Fashion Week. The event will kick of in New York City from January 31 to February 2. The 31-year-old Colombian star is the first Latin American artist to receive this title from The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as an ambassador.

In a recent press release distributed to different media outlets J Balvin said, “I’m honored and thankful to be partnering with the prestigious CFDA as one of the men’s wear ambassadors for fashion week. My interest in fashion is only matched by my love for music and I’m blessed to be given an opportunity to learn about some of my favorite designers from a firsthand look at their latest collections.”

In recent years, J Balvin has taken over the Latin music industry by obtaining several number one spots in the Billboard Charts. Now he wants to take his career to another level by collaborating with important fashion designers. This is not the first time Balvin attends a fashion event, last year he was spotted attending several events in Europe.

Reik Nominated to the iHeart Radio Awards

The popular Mexican band, Reik, begins the year with a nomination to the iHeart Radio Music Awards. The group is nominated in the category of Latin Song of the Year for their hit song titled, “Ya Me Enteré,” featuring Nicky Jam. The awards will be broadcasted live on March 5th at 8 p.m. ET on TBS, TNT, and TruTV. For several weeks, the song has maintained its popularity and stayed in the top ten of the Latin music charts. The single is also included in their recent album titled, “Des / Amor” released last year. This new production already won a platinum album in Mexico, and was also chosen as one of the 50 Best Albums of 2016 by the critics of Billboard Magazine. Gerardo Ortiz scores his eighth No. 1 single in the Regional Mexican Airplay Category of Billboard Magazine with his latest production, “Regresa Hermosa.” This new track will also be included in his upcoming album, “Comeré Callado.” With this achievement, Gerardo Ortiz sets the record as the only artist to have the most number one hits among solo artists. In the past, he was tied with Vicente Fernandez for having the most number one hits but not anymore.

The release date of his new album has not yet been revealed, but hopefully we will know in the next couple of months. Over the years, Ortiz has gained huge popularity, and wherever he performs his tickets sell out fast. Marco Antonio Solis Will Perform in the Viña Del Mar Festival

Marco Antonio Solis revealed that he will be participating in the 2017 Viña del Mar Festival. This event will take place from February 20th through the 25th, and many other big names are still confirming their appearance. This year the festival will commemorate its 58th anniversary at the longtime venue, Quinta Vergara, located in Viña del Mar.

In 2016 Marco Antonio Solis was honored with a Silver Torch for his incredible performance in Viña del Mar. This popular artist will for sure have another excellent presentation and will take home many more awards this year. In every show, the fans get really excited and enjoy seeing Marco Antonio Solis performed all his hits live.

Last year he also celebrated his 40th anniversary throughout the United States with huge success. During his musical career, he has had many number one hits and has earned the love and admiration of his fans.
